GENERAL INFORMATION: This one-day Refresher Couse takes a new approach that asks you to apply fundraising theory, skills, and techniques within the six knowledge domains of the field. The course is a combination of high level self-exploration of knowledge and peer exchange of best practices – all facilitated by knowledgeable fundraising practitioners using a caselet approach with components based on fundraising experience at the five-year level. This course is not presented in a lecture format. The course offers development professionals an opportunity to review the main components of a complete fundraising program.  The intensive program focuses on terminology, organization, and structure of a development operation. To gain the most from this experience and to read the requirements for obtaining your CFRE, you are strongly encouraged to visit the CFRE International website (www.cfre.org) including the test content outline, Study Wizard, as well as the resource reading list.
