Philanthropy in a Changing World
Adrienne Longenecker, CFRE is a long-time Austin resident who is passionate about helping to ensure all Central Texans enjoy the quality of life she is privileged to enjoy. A seasoned community servant well-known for vision, creativity, consensus building, and strategic data-driven decision making, Adrienne volunteers as a member of the Board of Directors and as U.S. Government Relations Committee Chair for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Global, as Treasurer for the Kealing Middle School PTA, as the Nonprofit Advisory Council Chair for I Live Here I Give Here, and on the Board of Directors for Austin Outside, a group that champions outdoor places for all throughout Greater Austin.
Adrienne attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Adrienne has held the CFRE credential, the only accredited certification for philanthropic fundraising professionals, for more than a decade. All holders of the CFRE credential pledge to abide by CFRE Accountability Standards, International Statement of Ethical Principles in Fundraising, and the Donor Bill of Rights.
Adrienne is the Chief Operating Officer of Hill Country Conservancy where she provides management and strategic direction for all operational areas including strategic plan implementation, finance and budgeting, HR, educational programs, volunteerism, communications, marketing, and resource development.
